It’s been nearly nine years since Jacques Rautenbach released his debut album Shades of Blue, which featured three international radio singles played across the Netherlands, Romania, Uzbekistan, South Africa, and Australia. Since then, Jacques has released 10 full-length albums, 5 EPs, and 9 singles—firmly establishing himself as one of South Africa’s most exciting and original neo-classical artists.
Blending modern classical, instrumental, and cinematic styles, his breakthrough album Death Becomes Me delivered standout tracks like “The Dream Giver” and “Amsterdam Turmoil,” which gained widespread radio play from Classic FM to Overvaal Stereo and earned over 120,000 views on social media. His music has been spotlighted multiple times as "Composer of the Week" on Fine Music Radio and currently reaches listeners in over 106 countries on Spotify.
Since his debut, Jacques has performed extensively, composed for film and television, and won an Aitsa Music Award for Best Instrumental.
